Secretarybird (Sagittarius serpentarius)

The secretarybird is a very large, mostly terrestrial bird of prey. Endemic to Africa, it is usually found in the open grasslands and savannah of the sub-Saharan region. Also, it´s probably the closest you´ll ever get to velociraptors. It get´s up to 4ft tall.

The replica has a crossguard and pommel made out of steel. The sword was inspired by the original sword showened in Collection Spitzer, auction catalogue from 1895, Nr. 171.
